Development and Innovation Manager (Nevers)

In COMAP since 2017

My qualifications

After graduating as an engineer in Materials Science, I specialized in process engineering with an industrial thesis: how to rethink the life cycle of plastics?

My professional experience

After my PhD, I continued as a research engineer, in charge of developing innovative solutions made to measure for companies. As I worked within an engineering school, I also gave some practical teaching sessions to students.

In my spare time and still today, I review articles for international scientific journals.

My entry at COMAP

I joined COMAP in March 2017 as Development and Innovation Manager at the Nevers site, which is specialised in PEX pipes and synthetic materials.

My daily work at COMAP

Besides monitoring technological developments, my role within the factory is to:

  • improve existing products and technologies;
  • supervise and pilot R&D programs;
  • seek partnerships with schools, universities, professional training centres or even industrialists;
  • establish and follow registration and certification files.

In parallel, I contribute to some transverse group projects to ensure close communication between the factory and the headquarters.

The "little extras" I appreciate at COMAP

In this sort of job, there is constant innovation and development, even in plastic pipes! Our missions are never redundant and they allow us to perpetuate the activity of the site. Trying to work on the future is fulfilling and very rewarding.
