Export assistant

In COMAP since 2014

My qualifications

I obtained a post-graduate degree in international business from the University of Lyon. I did my internship at Solari di Udine and came back to Italy to work for nine months at Electrolux in Pordenone.

My professional experience

I started my working life in Paris in a small import-export company and learned the follow-up of an export file. After a period in real estate, I have been employed in export departments in a large number of manufacturing companies. I joined Clesse Industries, a former division of COMAP, which headquarters were hosted in COMAP, in August 2004.

My entry at COMAP

I joined COMAP in December 2014 as an export assistant.

My daily work at COMAP

The order book is my working tool and I try to provide a satisfactory feedback to my customers and reach a monthly budget. There is no much routine in my work as my tasks go from replying to enquiries, entering orders, invoicing, to making payment reminders, this, with a large number of non-European customers. This implies a continuous training because the export environment changes, with new regulations and the knowledge of the cultural aspects of doing business with various countries is an interesting aspect to investigate too.

I am in touch with the logistics department of COMAP, with the COMAP factories and with the forwarders, Chambers of Commerce and banks.

The "little extras" I appreciate at COMAP

COMAP is moving on constantly. It opens its doors to people from different origins, especially in our export department and it is an awesome asset ! The new company project aims at invigorating the relationship with our customers and re-defining the way for co-workers to collaborate. It is an inspiring project!
