RID Manager

In COMAP since 2016

My qualifications

Coming from an engineering school with a specialization in thermal and fluid mechanics, I carried out part of my training in the United States, in order to discover another culture and open myself up to other methods of working.

My professional experience

After graduating, I joined a company specialized in aerospace propulsion, in a team responsible for the design, development and monitoring of engine tests. I later moved into the energy field before joining COMAP's Research, Innovation and Development Department (RID).

My entry at COMAP

I joined COMAP in February 2016 as an RID Engineer. Since early 2018, I have been in charge of the RID team on the Lyon site, whose role is to create, innovate and lead the development of new products.

My daily work at COMAP

Designing, simulating, prototyping and testing, meeting customers to improve the product, then monitoring the industrialization of the solution: there is a wide variety of activities within the team. We carry out our own tests on our solutions, in real conditions, to ensure that they meet the requirements of installers and end users. This can even lead us to carry out tests at -20 °C in the middle of July, using our biclimatic chamber!

In addition to our product design activities, COMAP offers us the opportunity to participate in transversal projects that bring together different departments.

The "little extras" I appreciate at COMAP

COMAP and its management team encourage employee initiative and this contributes to the motivation and the responsibility of the teams on a daily basis. Managers encourage teamwork and information sharing within departments.
