Evolution of comap's activity (March 25)

25 March 2020

Dear customers, dear partners,

In the light of the evolution of the Covid-19 epidemic and the reactions of our various partners, we are coming back to you to inform you of the evolution of our activity since our last communication on March 18th.

In accordance with the latest instructions from the Italian government, our Brescia site did not resume its activity yesterday. However, the teams are preparing to resume production as soon as possible.

Our Nevers site (production of tubes in PER) has been shut down since Friday 20/03. Here again, the teams are ready to resume production as soon as the conditions are met.

Finally, our Abbeville site is operating in degraded mode, both because of the application of safety instructions and because of a lack of components to produce certain products. However, we are aware that this production cannot be extended beyond a few days as we are also experiencing delivery stoppages from our suppliers and partners. The Abbeville plant, due to its inability to produce in the long term, will therefore have to cease its activity in a few days if the situation does not evolve favourably.

Our logistics centre in Chécy remains active and capable of organising deliveries of products to our customers subject to available stocks and the smooth running of transport.

We adapt our activity to the context and to the needs expressed by trying to support you as much as possible. Of course, our sales subsidiaries, which have adapted their organisation, remain your main contacts and are always ready to listen to you.

Thank you for your confidence,

The COMAP teams
